Coordinator's Report - June 14, 2008 Met with a representative of solid waste district, our Treasurer, and Rita M from BOH regarding operation of the transfer station. We explored revenue side and expenses. I will be making some recommendations to BOH once we get some more requested data. Solid waste district is a real asset. And note that we got $975 for our first load of metal recycling which took a month to accumulate. Hauling costs are predictably rising. I recommend we accept the fixed fuel bids we received from FRCOG. This is $4.59 / gallon for fuel oil and $4.81 for diesel. This is about 50% more than we estimated. Last year we paid $2.29 for fuel oil. Climbed Mt Grace with Nick and Tim to assess the road condition in anticipation of signing Memo with DCR. Our in-kind is "The furnishing and spreading of crushed stone or other fill material on the access road to the summit site when rain has washed out a portion of the roadway and where boulders may damage vehicle undercarriages" Assisted with employee evaluations.
